Sizing
Should I measure the cup size of my instrument(s)?
Yes. For every instrument for which you want to order a practice mute, you must measure the bell size and select the correct size during the ordering process.
If multiple instruments have exactly the same bell size, one practice mute can be used on all these instruments.
How do I measure the cup size of my instrument?
Measure the largest outer diameter of the cup with a tape measure or ruler. We recommend watching our video.
Do I get a discount if I need two or more sizes?
If you need multiple sizes, a discount will be automatically applied during checkout.
Order 2 practice mutes and receive a 5% discount, or order 3 practice mutes and receive a 10% discount on your entire order.
What if the practice mute doesn't fit my instrument?
To ensure the correct fit, it is important to carefully measure the cup size before ordering.
Did you accidentally order the wrong size? The practice mute can be returned, and you can then place a new order for the correct size. In that case, you will receive a 5% discount on this new order. Please contact us at support@brassaro.com for this. We will then send you a discount code.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for incorrect measurements.
Shipping
Who pays for shipping?
Shipping costs are at the customer's expense and are calculated during checkout based on the destination country and the carrier you choose.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are usually shipped within 1 to 3 business days. You will see an indication of the expected delivery time during checkout. As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code.
Should your order take longer, we will keep you informed.
Can I return my order for free?
The costs for returning an order are borne by the customer.

Which carriers do you ship with?
We ship our orders with DPD, DHL, and PostNL. The carrier may vary by country and destination.
Which countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to all countries within the European Union. Would you like to order from a country outside the EU? Please contact us using the contact form. We would be happy to add you to our waiting list.
Use
How do I use the practice mute?
The practice mute consists of two parts: the mute itself and the ring.
First, attach the ring to the bell of your instrument. Place one side of the bell into the ring, then gently work the ring around the bell until it is fully attached.
Then, attach the mute to the ring by aligning the magnets and clicking them together.
You can then adjust the volume level and back pressure as desired with the adjusting ring.
Do I need to take anything into account when using the practice mute?
For optimal product performance and longevity, we recommend observing the following points:
• Do not disassemble the product.
• Avoid direct sunlight, extreme heat, and temperatures above 40°C.
• Store the product in a dry environment.
• Bend the cup mute only as much as necessary.
• Do not leave the cup mute on the instrument longer than necessary.
• Always attach and remove the product carefully.
• Always remove the practice mute after playing so that the instrument can dry properly.
• Clean only with a soft cloth or water. Keep the magnets dry.
• Keep magnetic parts out of reach of young children.
